Sacramento Gold FC (0-0-1) travelled to San Francisco on Saturday, April 1st for their season opener against El Farolito (1-0-0). El Farolito opened up the scoring in the 39th minute and went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
The 2nd half proved to be a stalemate until the 69th minute a Gold FC own goal put the visitors behind 2-0. The match would end 2-0 in favor of El Farolito. Gold FC's next match is April 16th against FC Davis at home, kickoff is set for 3:00 PM PST.
